How this demo uses your data

Usage statistics

As you use the demo, we count model selections and slider positions after you pause moving the slider, grouped by model, pruning percentage and rounded memory estimate. Each request adds one to an anonymous aggregate total in our database; the application does not retain an individual choice record, timestamp, email, visitor ID or IP address in its statistics table. These are counts of actions, not unique people. We use them to measure how visitors use the site and which models and hardware requirements interest them. We never sell this information to third parties.

Requests and contact messages

If you suggest a model, request a notification or send a contact message, we save your email and the details needed to respond. A model suggestion saves the model name you enter. A notification saves your selected model, pruning percentage and memory estimate. A contact message saves your message and, if you selected a model, that model, percentage and memory estimate. We never sell these submissions to third parties. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where information is kept

The demo stores aggregate counts and submitted forms in a private Cloudflare D1 database, accessible to the PRUNe site administrators. The application does not save your IP address or browser identifier in that database. Network requests still pass through Cloudflare, which may process network information to operate and protect the site under its own service terms.

Your choices

Choice counts are on when you first use the demo if your browser allows local storage, unless you previously turned them off. Use “Turn off statistics” in the notice at the bottom of the demo to stop future counts, and the same control to turn them back on. We save only this preference in your browser's local storage when available. If it is unavailable, statistics stay off until you explicitly turn them on for the current visit. Turning counts off cannot undo earlier totals because they contain no visitor ID. You can use the model selector, slider and forms with counts off. Forms are saved when you submit them, regardless of this setting. To ask about a submitted request or request deletion of your email and message, write to hello@prune-ai.com.
